99% of our repair calls involve some sort of leak but this repair call was for noise. Earlier this year a customer reported a whistling noise and the sound of metal touching or rubbing against metal coming from the top of their metal roof. The homeowner had done several checks to see if any of the metal roofing had come loose or detached but each time he looked everything seamed to be normal.

Both are problems, while a leak is an instant problem you need to attend to quickly, condensation can cause bigger problems later down the road so it is just as important to tend to it before it gets more costly.

This is a good question to ask that many people probably think about and we do not want customers to feel they shouldn't ask these questions. Commercial building owners probably turn this over and the accountant or CPA do what they know can be done with this. But what is it that we can do with the money we pay out on a new roof? While we are not tax experts, we did find a few articles that might be helpful and we advise customers to seek a CPA to answer these specific questions regarding taxes.
