Commercial roofing company Exterior Pro Inc. , located in southern Indiana, recently earned the Certified metal roof installer / contractor status from metal roofing manufacturer Englert. The program will allow Exterior Pro Inc. to offer it’s customers a weather-tightness warranty on the metal roofs it installs.
In order to be awarded the certification, qualified metal roofing contractors must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas, 1) Quality workmanship and best installation practices, 2) Understanding and adhering to the various metal roofing details outlined in spec book from Englert, and 3) a representative from the roofing company must attend the metal roofing certification seminar and pass a written exam at the of the training.
The owner of Exterior Pro Inc, Aaron Perry, had this to say “The training was tough but very helpful, we learned a lot about the metal roofing industry that we didn't know before. Being able to offer the weather tightness warranty is a big deal for our company, I think the certification is going to open up some great opportunities for us in the future”
Aaron scored an “A” on the written exam and Exterior Pro Inc. has already benefited from the metal roofing certification.
